i have a custom TRUNK area in my Accord Hatch... i basically took allthe plastic out, dynamated the walls and the floor, and then built a square area to place my subs, amps and caps. Its not a perfect square, but its all 90 degree angles around the wheel wells and the back where the ligths are.. i used a 3/4 inch peice of plywood for the base, and 1/4 inch for the walls. i then covered it all in dark blue vinyl. it looks cool, and the amps and such are recessed into the side walls...

May be a while... I'm actually going to start the sub pod over from scratch because I want to put in a mounting spot for the amp. Only problem is that I don't yet have the amp that I want to use, and haven't decided which amp I do want to use, so until then, the project is on hold...

Plus, I've got a ton of other projects going on:
d16y8 swap
Fiberglass Rear-fill speaker pods (almost done)
Fiberglass door-mounted speaker pods
Fiberglass sub pod
Vinyl covered MDF flooring for where the rear-seat used to be (which is where the sub pod is going).
New tails should be in soon...
Going to chop the top deck off of my wing and make it a spoiler
blah blah blah...

you get the idea.

Plus all the stuff for the sedan...

Dude, fiberglass is easy, just time consuming, you just gotta do it... Certainly helps if you've got the right tools already.

I wanted to have all this fiberglass work done at a shop, and they quoted me @ $2000 for it. I decided that for about $500, I can buy all the tools and materials I need and learn to do it myself.
