My Golf 2.0L Help MEEE!!

Hey guys I just bought myself a 1999 2.0L VW GOLF! It has 115 Horsepower! Driving it is fun, but 115HP is weak. What can I do about this? Would it be worth modifying the engine? Could I just put a differnt engine into it? Could I put a r32 into it ?? Or how about a 2.8L?? Where can I buy used engines online? Anyone have a site? How much would this all cost to do? Im still a teen so I dont have much money to spend. Help me out guys!

if you don't have alot of cash, then how much are we talking?
most likely an engine swap is out of you price range, you'd need then engine, tranny ecu and wiring harness, thats not cheap.

take a look at www.neuspeed.com , they have some items that will give your 2.0l a good boost.

you can drop a 2.8 or a 1.8t, both will work and fit in a 99.

Its a dark midnight blue, with yellow accents. Like yellow steering wheel wrap, shifter, painted yellow air ducts and a bunch of other stuff. It looks cool, not ricey at all.
