Stillen Strut Tower Bar

Ok, for those of you who have the Stillen strut tower bar, I have a question. Did you have to modify the hood liner at all, or did the hood clear the bar ok? It looks to me that the bar would stick up a bit too high, touching or going through the hood liner (hood firewall)?

Thanks for the info. As for the Evo, I am having my first round of updgrades done sometime in late December. Since I'm doing a package deal (suspension, stb, intake, exhaust), they're installing for free...I'm psyched...a little worried about my wife driving it after the mods, but still psyched...

All the P10's I've seen the Stillen bar on are fine. I havn't heard, or seen of any issues with that STB.

Speaking of the fit on the STB...should the bolts that tighten up the one end be really really tight? any play?
