Worst drifting experiences...

So, what was the absolute worst thing that has ever happend to you guys while drifting? What was the damage, how much did it cost, did you hit anyone else, etc. Me? I don't even have my permit .

I've messed up my alignment pretty bad hitting curbs a couple times, but I've been careful enough to fortunatly not broken anything important yet.

Wasn't me, but a friend who saw me drifting my MGB and decided to try it with his Dad's wire-wheel MG Midget.

Smacked a curb with a rear wheel and sheared the axle and hub through the spokes. It was a $130 wheel.

I wasnt drifting but my friends were trying to say I was
I was turning an extremely sharp turn and there was a litte bit of sand on the street.

When I was turning, the car slid straight into the curb.

Bent my control arm and tie rod,

broke my tension rod,

and blew my tire. The rim ony got a scratch but nothing really bad.

I picked up another control arm and tension rod at a salvage yard for $50.Didn't replace the tie rod, just beat it back into shape.

I also bent the bolt that connects the sway bar to the control arm,got another one with an extra control arm for $10

Came around too much and went up over a curb halfway onto the middle median. Didn't hurt nothing, but felt like a complete dumbass to everyone behind me as I backed my car off the curb and back onto the roadway where it belongs.

For me.... Smacked my '97 Camry into a mountain. No grip on the tires, and understeered. Car was totaled ... got a new 2003 Camry in it's place. ('85 Corolla-Don't take it out much, gotta fix it up a bit..)

Understeered into a traffic light going about 30 MPH. Braked too hard and made my all important front wheels lose traction. Plus I was using that stupid e-brake. $2500 in damage, but it's all good now.

Last week in the wet. I was street Drifting with some mates in an industrial area at 3 in the morning. I came around a corner completely sideways and had it under control until boost came on, the rear wheels went completely nuts, I lost control of the car and came off the road into a pile of rocks and dirt. I really need to get used to the power of an external gated turbo car. Anyway the damage wasnt too severe and it's just a good excuse to make the car a Onevia sooner that planned. The good news is that the Drift was caught on digital camera so I will try and get it up for you all to have a look at.

Hehe, well I live in Australia so it might be a bit hard getting it to you. A friend of mine is turning his 180 into a Sileighty so we are gonna swap front ends. The damage on mine is not too bad and I have a Nissan aero front bar on it too so it looks cool.
