How you going.
I just have a few questions as i'm looking to buy a r33 gtst early next year. a) What is the difference (if any) between the r33 gtst and gts25t? b) What comes standard in the r33 gtst? For example hicas, abs things like that. I don't want to go out and buy what i believe to be a fully optioned skyline and it all turns out to be standard. Thanks for your help |

"gtst" is just what our Australian cousins call the GTS25t
The R32 gtst was 2L, the R33 is 2.5L, hence GTS25t. Standard, they all have an LSD (no matter what that dirty bizkit said ), and a driver's airbag. Series II (mid/late 1996 on) have 2 airbags. All have HICASOptions were ABS (though apparently the majority of them have this - mine doesn't), and an active LSD like in the GTR (very rare). I don't know what other options there were. in 1998 xenon headlights were added.

G'day,
There is no such thing as a R33 GTSt it is called a R33 GTS25t because it has a 2.5 lt engine. And if were called a gtst there would be no difference anyway. I own a R32 but I'll have a guess at the options Climate Control Hicas 16in wheels Power windows, mirrors, steering Maybe a factory CD player Airbags ABS 750 hp engine I don't know about the lat one, come to think about it I don't know about any of them in a R33. This should give you a rough idea anyway. Regards, Doc |

With regards to the climate control, it is digital isn't it.
I had one dealer telling me that this was an added extra abd therefore charging more. But for a 95 model car, you would have to expect that it would be digital and not some crappy lever like i have now. |

As far as I'm concerned he's shitten ya. I'm 99% sure that all skylines w/ AC come with digital climate control. Print up some specs from the R33, take it to the dealer, light it then shove it up his arse.
Cheers, Doc |

For God Sake, Doctor and Gts-4 Ben, we all have the same car.
But I am far better looking than both of you. And have a faster car (Shut up anyone that knows better, they don't know) And can read at an upper school level. Greg.

Driver's airbag is standard in the series II 25t, and twin airbags optional (I think); I thought one airbag was standard in series I also. Guess maybe not.

Tango GTS-4 -
we forgot to settle our sign off name issue. As I recall, you trade marked your name - hehe (good call). Maybe we should make it a age thing, who ever has had the name 'Greg' for the longest can use it. I got mine in may 1975. I'll use Greggles for now (seeing some people call me that) Greggles - hehe :alien2: |
