Best swap for 4g's

i have about 4000$'s to put into the motor my 91 crx si. i want to know what all of you guys think would be the best swap where id get reliablity, but also power. i was thinking about Ls w/a turbo kit. please throw all of your ideas out, i need some help. thx all

Well if you wanna be fast right off the jump then ls turbo will be a good choice. If you decided not to go with that, then get a gsr motor.

Probably an LS turbo, or a cheap B16A, then save a little more money and boost that.

gsr... or a b16 and two g's to build it up... or a ls/zc duallie and have like 3 g's to build that up

every one should be pretty quick...

or just build up a sick ass b20-vtec

swap

aight. i've decided on b16 & build it up a bit. do you guys recommend any places to order it from ? i know www.inlinefour.com & thats bout it. i wana go through a company that has gaurentes & warrenty stuff. leme know asap. thanks for responding guys, later.

If I had 4K to put to a motor into a CRX, I would probly put something serious like a B20 turbo. I know you can get a B20 long block for like $750 from Hmotorsonline.com (my friend did) and put some cash building it up, then add a turbo. Make sure you get a tranny with a LSD if you go this route. Thats what I would do.
