My car overheated and starting making a strange noise, so I pulled over (never hit the red line). Now after having it towed to my sisters, it will start fine and sound completely normal but suddenly stop running all together. There is no water in the oil, no oil in the coolent, and nothing leeking. I have no idea what is going on. Any ideas...
Thanks

Re: 89 Pontiac Seizing
Could be numerous things: Low fuel pressure and related lean condition, Computer/ sensor sending wrong information to fuel/intake, hole in piston from lean condition.
Sounds like a trip to the shop to me and I work on my own vehicles! |

remove the drive belt and check for any seized or hard to turn pulleys.
