anyone see this "i hate maxima's" thread?

it seems like it'd be derogatory, but it's not http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...18#post1069201

I just read it and posted over there, I was interested in the one where the guy said he beat a Modded Max with a Volvo.

I asked him to elaborate a lil more since he lives in Europe and the European versions of Nissans are known to be less powerful than those made here and in Japan.

Oh we can definately hang. We'll get beat in a straight line, but I never saw a Maxima at an autocross. And a Maxima never turns heads. But I don't want to be mean, I think I'm just bitter because a Maxima T-boned my car a month ago and caused $3000 worth of damage. I'll give em credit where its due - they will suprise many a stoplight racer, including myself.

my friend has a 1995 325i. they're nice cars but he has plans to sell it and buy a maxima. and i think a 2002 maxima turns more heads than a mid 90's bimmer unless it's an M.

my buddy has a 325 schnitzer package BS. his car looks fast and furious.. but most def it is not faster than mine. a 330 is a different kind of breed though.

i'm not hatin, i thought it was funny the way the thread was titled and was pleasantly surprised that it was givin props to our cars. i was lookin at a 95 M3 before i got my new car i just figured a warranty was more important than a half second faster 0-60
