Turbo D16a6

Could somebody give me a list of parts needed to turbo my d16a6. ie which cars the turbos, manifolds, injectors, etc. will work from. If you know of a good site with instructions drop a link. I am not looking at major internal motor work and I am not worried about how many lbs of boost I can push yet. I just want to get the turbo on and working first. I don't care if it pushes 3psi. One more question, will I need a boost controller? A friend of mine just pulled the motor out of his talon and said I could have parts from his old motor. I know turbos from eclipses will work but what years and models I don't know.

how much are you looking to spend on this. www.slowboyracing.com has a kit for the d16 for like $1295. It's also upgradeable with more parts from them you'll be running 5 or 6 psi.

If you still want to make your own then study the homemadeturbo site as much as you can good stuff there.

Honda Tuning did an article about turbo'ing a d16a6 a while back, and they did it for only like 300 bucks...

that is using a turbo off of a DSM, and the exhaust manifold off of a CRX HF...

it ran 5 - 7 pounds of boost, no boost controller, etc... just baseline turbo with no frills...

i've seen a guy who followed the article down to the letter and it worked out perfectly, and he doesn't know much about cars yet... he's not an idiot, he's just new to the game...
