What motor ends in a6?

Got a cam from an a6 just wonderin what motor that is.....

ok...hm...when i swapped the cam out, i had everything marked everywhere, and lined everything up perfectly, and it made it slower...like it had no low end whatsoever...i had to keep the rpm's up way higher just to get moving.

No.

just getting a cam wont make an improvement. well it will, but you have to get an ajustable cam gear to make the most out of it

what type of cam you get?

do you have MPFI? not second guessing you or anything but are you sure you got everything hooked back up? there are really only 2 plugs that are shaped the same....get them backwards and the car will start but barely hold idle

you have the helm's?

My sohc zc came tagged as a d16a6, but still had the "zc" stamped on the block

i think thats how mine is right now, if they are backwards does the temp gage work? mine doesnt work ever since i swaped out the engine

theres also a B20a6 thats in a prelude from 88-? but thats a DOHC so it doesnt apply here.

if your cams kinda extreme you have to get a chip ythat corrosponds or your computer will try to correct it and youll lose serious power, and possibly f the motor
