1993 Clicking Under right side of dash!

Help! My 93 burb suddenly developed a loud clicking under the dash inside right about where the recirculation vent is behind the blower moter. With the AC Fuse in it clicks key on , key off, ac on,ac off, It fricken clicks about 30 secound anything you do! what controls the flap under and behind the heater blower. any help will be deeply appriciated I dont want to drop the entire core unless I have too. Thx in advance. Like your forum guys keep up the good work.

Have the same problem with my '94. Was told it was the A/C relay switch, but I'm not 100% certain. If anyone else can confirm this, let me know.

I recently started hearing a clicking noise from under the right side of the dash on my 94 Suburban. It is more annoying than anything everytime the key is turn into the start position or shut off it starts making this noise. Anyone got a clue what the heck is causing this ???? Please advise.

Well it isn't the A/C relay like I first thought. It is that box behind the blower motor. If you turn your key on, then feel behind the blower motor, you can feel the "door" that "opens" and "closes". It is some kind of recirculation device for the air/heat. I changed the heater core and thought I could get to it easier, but could not. A mechanic friend of mine told me he has seen this alot with this vehicle type. He told me he is 99% sure that something felll down the defrost ducts and got caught in the motor that opens and closes the door, making it jump gears. Something like a pencil, change, etc. He says he seen it almost everytime. Problem is, its hard to get too. If you can figure out how to get to it, let me know.

PS. I temporarly stoped mine from clicking by shoving a dowell rod into the opening. It works, its simple, but since the "door" does not shut all the way, cold air will blow out of the box.

I have the same problem in my 97 blazer.
Thats why i registered in this forum.
My problem is the turn signal relay which is located behind the glovebox.
Apparently the turn signal switch assy. in the steering column is causing a short which either causes the turn relay to keep clicking after making a turn or just start clicking by itself. Sometimes it makes a really fast clicking sound.
