yo can someone help me out. I got a 95 civic and i got a new e-brake knob. The stock e-brake will not budge I've taken the whole console piece appart and I've done pratically everything i could to try to get it off. Theres not even any screws that are visible.

another victim to the ebrake handle not coming off. Try a sharp exacto knife or something cause the only was i know of the plastic covering coming off is by cutting it off.

Get some vice-grip pliers and just PULL the handle with all your might. It'll slide off. Nothing really "holds" it on other than it's damn tight fit. I used a dremel on mine and sliced it down the middle only to find out all I had to do was just use pliers and slide it off.
