Thumbs up Hyde hit the dyno

First off I would like to thank Bryan "Noshoes" Moore for his time and expertise. Because of scheduling conflicts getting on the dyno at World Electronics Racing (Christian Rados shop) we had one day to get everything installed on my car. We originally planned for at least a day and a half.

Bryan did an amazing job getting everything installed, correctly, cleanly and professionally.
He installed: 550 injectors, SAFC, VPC, complete MSD ignition with 2-step rev limiter.

This was my first real dyno tuning experience and I am extremely pleased. We were hoping for more HP, but the thing that really mattered to me was where/when 200 ft lbs fell. I knew Hyde was making 20 ft lbs before 4000 rpms unlike most of the other turbos that are currently being marketed for our cars.

NoShoes is responsible for recommending my turbo, a T3/T4 Hybrid Turbocharger - T04E-50 Compressor and T3 Stage 5 Turbine (.48 A/R). (complete mod list on my website) He recommended this based on my needs/wants. I wanted an awesome street car with real 1/4 mile and autocross potential.

I have it. I have made my goal and I am done (unless something breaks).

In an effort to document as much as possible, I shot videos which will be posted soon. I have a video of the boost gauge and tach on one of the 20 psi pulls as well as general vids of the car on the Dyno.

BlitzMR2 wins the prize for the closest guess on acutally RWHP. He guessed 307 @ 20 psi and we made 308 @ 20 psi.

The line lock should me installed within the month.

What's next? The Nopi Event at Maple Grove Raceway on August 2/3... with the new found power, 2-step + line lock... 11s or bust.

The chart shows the street tune (15 psi) vs the track tune (20psi). Take note that Hyde demonstrated exactly 10 HP per 1 psi.

We only took a short drive after the dyno session... and the car is very different... night and day.... black and white... Jekyl and Hyde.

No B.S.: the car is 100% smoother and quicker.

55+ quarter mile runs, 15+ dyno pulls, 193,000 miles on the original engine... I love what you do for me - TOYOTA...... and they drove away

Nope... just had it done last week.
Will be racing in a few weeks.

My 12.2 was done untuned without: VPC, SAFC, 550s, MSD Igntion, 2-step revver and lline lock. I am assuming that I will be able to ebtter my 12.2 run.

We'll see.
