While n Pemberton, BC Canada, the local supermarket had carts with the best handling I've ever seen - 0wnz all carts in Australia. So I did about 10 laps of racing lines through all the aisles and pissed off the locals

Stole one I found in the street that belonged to the local New World- took it up to the bush- raced it downhill- trying to find out what happened before I woke up in hospital with 7 stitches to the head

Alex? Do I even want to know??

My favorite carts are at Heathrow International, 4-wheel steering and a brake too!!
I can't say I recall getting up to too much mischief with one, but they were cool.

Hurting ourselves, now that's fun. Good ol' CKY and JackAss taught us how to do it, the mall where we did it has a real big hill all around so we get going as fast as we can and the curb at the end stops the shopping cart but you keep doing down to the bottom of the hill. But we aren't allowed near the mall to do that anymore since a few of my friends got on top of the mall and threw cinder blocks and pots and all sorts of stuff off it onto shopping carts and next time anyone goes there it's a fine.Haha dumbasses got banned from the property for a year.

WTF? All these shopping carts (besides the Target ones) you are talking about have motors or something? 4 wheel steering?! I am used to the plastic/wireframe-metal ones we have here in the States. Anyways, we took one to skateboard over, just to see how high we could ollie, and we ended up shoving a friend down a 12 set of stairs in the cart. LOL that kid got fucked up...like just cuts and knicks but he was well shook up. So we all tried it cause he didn't get any major injuries...that cart flew for like 11 of the 12 steps! Only when our fat friend jumped off did we stop...gravity is a bitch on the heftier guys

EDIT* This was WAAAAAY before Jackass and CKY. Skaters were just born stupid I guess,

i think the worst shoppping carts is GOODWILL's. they have the worst controlling EVER. i dunt even kno y i rode it, or i think they were selling it. Targets' carts are the best, now they have where the kids can sit in a little car thing, i wish i could fit in it.

hahah, I lvoe shopping carts, I drifted the one at Loblaws just the other week. When it's only about 1/4 full it glides so smoothly around the corners. Even made car noises when sent out to pick up some stuff form various aisles, not to mention the expert navigation skills between other vehicles on the aisle.

Hmm lemme guess....Desert Ridge? That;s not really a rich mall...it's just a bunch of fake people pretending to be rich. They drive their bank accounts

Well our shopping cart fun story....a few years ago Alex bought a beat up Toyota Tercel wagon to have as something to drive while his car was getting bodywork and paint done. We would drive to shopping centers late at night where you were guaranteed there would be a few stray carts so he would drive across the lot at up to 40 mph and hit the carts. We would laugh our butts off as the cart flew across the lot. Then we would hit them again to see how much air they would get

Has anybody ever played trolley hockey while on bikes?

It is a game best played in an empty carpark (more fun when full though ) where we have to push trolleys at each other and the first to get hit loses (or when we are on bikes, the person who gets hit usually falls off the bike and gets hurt). Its all fun.

i had a shopping kart attack the door of my car... does that count?

as for funny stuff tho... i haven't tried it, but in one of my buddies neighborhoods, there are a lot of speed bumps, and he's found that u can punt a shopping cart pretty well if you put it on the edge of the speed bump then ram it with a truck...

seems like we phoenix people love abusing teh shopping carts, lol
