I can't comment on AFX but Perry's is great. Randy has superb castings and is very quick and efficient. Don't hesitate to deal with him.

Thumbs up They're both good.

Both companies are good to deal with, Perry's may take a little longer but it's worth it. I haven't dealt w/AFX, but I've heard plenty of glowing reports from people who have.

Perry's??

Wouldn't bother wasting your time. I waited 2 years for a kit that never got released!

He's talking about the Panoz. Several years ago Randy Frost (Owner of Perry's Resin) was creating the master for the Infineon Panoz GT-R (silver coupe with orange speed bubbles livery). The Panoz company gave Randy the incorrect measurement for the length of the car (it was the long-tail from Rolex 24hr). Randy didn't discover the error until the master was almost complete (I've got pics of the master and what needed to be changed to correct the error). Several folks had pre-paid for the Panoz, but Randy went through some life changes (and I'm sure a fair amount of disgust at the error) and has yet to finish the kit. Latest rumour (from Richard at RCS) is that the kit will be out shortly, but will never be added to the Perry's REsin catalogue.

hth,

Bill
