Discolorization fo 18" Wheels

Has anyone experienced any staining and discoloring of these wheels.
I am told by Infinity that this is caused by dtergent in car washes. They refuse to act on the problem.

I have one rim that is also discolored. I didn't realize it was permament because my car is so new. I hoped it was oil or something. I have tried to wash it off at the regular car wash but not hard because the paint on my front end and grill flew off when I washed it last time. Infiniti is telling me it might not be covered either. I am soooo sick. I have never recieved such poor customer relations help. H

I have 3 wheels that are stained. I have gone as far as the VP of customer relations and have been told that I must have used a cuatic cleaner to have this happen. If you go to the owners manual there is a small disclaimer on the wheels. Basically they told me too bad. I agree with you that the customer relations are the worst I've encountered. It would be interesting to know how many of these problems there. Seems that there is a problem they're afraid to face.
