Talking First HLJ Order

Well I placed my first HLJ order sunday and sent out the money today. Im paying via money order so its going to take a little longer but it was in stock so that will speed things up a little bit. Its a small order but a very cool and special one (to me anyways). I would have order the car with it but I didnt have the money. Heres a couple of pictures of it.

Its a decel set for Michael Schumachers Mercedes-Benz 190Evo.II from the 1991 DTM season. Its from Museum Collections and it was the last on in stock .
And thanks Vric for your help.

Well I did some searching for the matching car and this is the one I came up with.

Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.5 16 Evolution II "Debis"

Heres the picture to compare the two.

It looks a little differnet in some areas like the windows, exhaust pipes, and the front kit. Is this the correct car for the decel set? If not can you guys help me find the matching car?
Thanks for anyhelp.

I got those two items!!

Hey Schumy I'm one of your biggest fans As a loyal fan, I've set myself the challenge of building a model of the cars your driven. Don't forget that Studio 27 has made a decal sheet for the 1990 Merc 190 Evo2 also.

Hey exhaust smoke I got to questions for you. First, I couldnt find the Studio 27 decels on HLJ can you post a direct link, and second are you using the same car in the above post (Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.5 16 Evolution II "Debis") for your Michael Schumachers Mercedes-Benz 190Evo.II decel sheet?

Schumy, sorry mate I forgot to check this thread.

Anyways, the Studio 27 decal set for the 1990 Merc 190 DTM is as follows from HLJ:

http://www.hlj.com/cgi-perl/hljpage.cgi?S27DC365

As for the donor kit, it would probably be best to use the 'Boss' liveried one as it has the correct wheels.

Let us know how it goes, and be sure to make a progress thread on the model when you get it!

Anybody else notice that the number plates say ITR on them?
(get it? ITR, Integra type R?...ehh forget it)

Thanks for all your help exhaust smoke. Im going to have a lot of models and accessories to buy this summer. That 360 Challenge conversion kit is pretty expensive. I better buy it soon before it goes out of stock .

I have the debis decals and the kit (well, I had the Debis kit until I melted it, so I'm using the body off another 190E Evo II kit). Good choice!

Not a problem. I agree, the 360 kit is expensive, but the wheels that come in the kit are worth it alone. Thet are of fantastic quality!!
