Keyless Entry Problem

Just joined this group........I just bought a 1992 Maxima, with the keyless entry keypad under the outside door handle......The person i bought it from doest know the code...is there a way to reset the code so i can use it, hehe might be handy if i locked my keys in my car .......please help me its driving me crazy

Well i found the reset code, I was told it was behind the glove box, but its more or almost behind the pass vent, to the right of the glove box, way at the top. top right, a silver box with 3 sets of numbers on it, and being a big guy.....ya just have to get all the way in the floor board to see them

Hi Piercer,
I was wondering if you could help me and tell me ,or tell me where to go to get instructions on using the key pad entry.
I purchase the car and do not know how to use it.
