08 impala gauge cluster and | clicking actuators (?)

I am curios if I can plug n play a gauge cluster from a different impala. I have read many different things about reprogramming. Not concerned with the mileage changing as this is my work car and I don't play on selling. Riding til the wheels fall off.
My other issue is the actuators I believe that click when I first start the car for about 30 seconds, and occasionally when I change the temp or position of the air or heat. I've read you can grease the original ones and they'll work, which I will probably just buy new, but my question is how hard of a job is it. I'm pretty mechanically combined and do.most of my own car repairs, but I'd rather not have to take the whole dash off and make it an 8 hour job just to change them. Thanks in advance.

Blend doors for the HVAC is a dash out process.

For the cluster I think the mileage is stored in the ECU, so that shouldn't be an issue, however GM's of that era usually require reprogramming to make things like that work.
