if you want a big turbo go with a greedy t-78 the hks gt3037 is big but i think the greedy t-78 will spool a little faster then the hks.. both of these turbos will take a while to spool on a sr20det becaue these turbo are ment for cars with more displacement.. my gustimate on the rpms that these turbo will start to spool is around 4000 and probably get boost till redline..

good luck

?!?!?!?!

the t78 would be a slug on the sr20. The hks GT3037 would be a nice turbo for the SR. Approx 500 hp potential out of it (depending on what trim and a/r you choose). Be prepared to pay for all this good stuff though... the GT3037 directly from HKS will cost you $2170.

turbo

Obviously the 2835 will spool up quicker than the 3037, so as always it is a compromise between responce and peak power. I want to know when both turbos spool up and also make peak power and what that peak power would be. I am building this engine to race trak but also driveable. I have heard some people say the 3037 is not streetable 'cause of lag. Is the peak power of 3037 worth the lag on the street, or is the peak power of the 2835 enough to hold its own on the track. My target power is around 500 hp to the weels, but I could settle for less if it ment driveability.
