Just wanted to share my first experience with the new revopoint trackit scanner. I scanned a bmw e46 body with it and I was pleasently surprised. I routinely scan full car bodies like this and compared to my regular handheld structured light scanner, I was able finish this scan significatly quicker, due to not having to prepare the surfaces with scanning spray and markers. Also because volumetric accuracy is better over larger span, post processing and cleanup work required measurably less time and effort. Software is improving slowly, small hiccups, but overall it is getting there!
