2008 Oil Change Miseries

2008 Mercury Mountaineer, V6.

Last mechanic to change the oil must have used an impact wrench to tighten the drain plug. Can't budge it even with a 28" break bar.

Trying to siphon the oil out with a Harbor Freight hand siphon pump, but the dipstick hose meets an obstruction about 3/4 the length of the dipstick, doesn't reach the crankcase--maybe a guide for the dipstick?

Any ideas, clues, or suggestions about how to proceed?

WalMart has already refused to change the oil because the rear seal is leaking. Many shops will add whatever the book says, overfilling the crankcase, leaving no room for the stop leak.
