bmw 325i or mercedes c230 sport sedan

I'm just curious if you guys could help me in choosing the better car - the bmw 325i or the mercedes c230 sport sedan. there is one obvious difference - the bmw inline 6 and the mercedes supercharged 4 cylinder engine - but performance wise, the mercedes can keep up, on paper and on the road. bmw's 184 hp, 175 torque, 0-60 in 7.1 sec. or 8.1 auto isnt that differnt than mercedes' 189 hp, 192 torque, 0-60 in 7.2 sec. or 7.5 auto. but i'd have to say that bmw's 6 cylinder engine does give a better growl compared to the supercharged 4.

but at the same time, the mercedes is about $3000 cheaper, so that provides some room to load it up a bit more for about the same price as the bmw. even though i hate the fact that mercedes hasn't incorporated a cd player standard in the dash of any of it's c-class cars, so the only way to get one is the six disc tray in the glove comparment. but even though i've loved the 325i standard and sport rims forever, the mercedes c230 sedan's standard 17's are really nice.

so can you guys help in deciphering which one prevails?
