Unfortunately the "regular" vipers aren't listed there. Performance is similar to the ACR.

As a few of those are aftermarket Tuners, you forgot the production King Snake
777hp and 703ft/lbs.

Yeah, the Viper is incredible. Not only is it incredibly powerful (enough torque to bend it's rear axles!), but it can pull almost a G! That's incredible. However, what doesn't show up in that infinite list of stats is it's horrible fuel efficiency. It gets worse gas milage than a Lamborghini!

The viper also has some serious potential for modifications. With a Stryker Twin Turbo you can get it well past 900 hp! Incredible.

I think the current Viper has much better looks than the new concept. It looks cheesy. Granted, that roof scoop, and some of the other body pieces will be scrapped or altered, I prefer the previous look.

Enzo - The Viper gets better gas mileage than a Diablo. Especially on highway.

The King Snake looks just like a GTS. That is, until you get under the hood.

I'd prefer an ACR with a stryker turbo kit.

I have driven 2 vipers.

1999 GTS, sweet ride...VERY torque, and very fast. I would much rather have a new C5 over the viper due to the comforts and the cost of a Vette to a viper.

Hennessey venom 650R, the Yellow one in all the mags. WAS A FAST CAR! I liked it, but then again I like speed. Again i prefer a lingenfelter 650 C5 over the viper.

Just my input....

A few months ago, while in the market for a sports car,I test drove a '00 GTS ACR. It felt incredibly powerful. Had very nice handling also. Then I test drove my Z06. The Z06 wasn't quiet as powerful, but I think that the handling was better. Car and Driver and Motor Trend have rated it at .98 and .99 Gs. The Viper is a very nice car though. I have yet to race one.

I like the Viper.
I wish I were you, test driving Vipers and being able to afford them. I will to, someday, but not yet.

What about the Lingenfelter Viper, it is faster than any other Tuner Viper.

Enzo, tell us where we can learn more about this turbo kit, and why don't all tuners use it???

Lingenfelter? No way. The lingenfelter Viper has something like 640 hp....the stryker TT gets damn near 1000, the Hennessey 800 gets something like 830 (see the new MT (or, was it C&D or R&T????)), and there are many others that I think are faster (TNT king snake and maybe even the ACR!).

For more info on the Stryker TT, click Here or here.
