Angry Temperature Gauge - Digital Dash

I have a 1994 GMC Jimmy with a digital dash. For some reason, the temperature gauge is not working. Where is the scensor located on the engine block. I want to check if it is disconnected or broken.
Thanks

Re: Temperature Gauge - Digital Dash

Might not be the sensor, but the connection to it. I had the same problem on my 90 and it turned out that the clip attaching the temp sensor wire to the sensor had deteriorated and the wire was loose. Chances are the wire or accessory clip holding it to the sensor have gone bad. I would check these first. On my 90, the sensor is located on the passenger side, in the exhaust manifold, damn near impossible to miss.
