OS won't start
My 2012 Outlander Sport has been sitting for 6 years (I know that a long time) and I'm trying to get it started. I have changed the battery and it has almost a half tank of gas in it. When I put the new battery in, all electrical came up but I could not get it to turn over. Does anyone have any idea what I should probably do to see if it will start without having it towed to a shop?

Re: OS won't start
6yrs? Pull the plugs. Spray some penetrating oil in the plug holes let it sit over night. Then try turning it over via the crank pulley. Rings may be rusted to the cylinder walls.

Re: OS won't start
Thanks. I will give it a try. It wasn't supposed to sit that long but life happens.
