Lightbulb Finished K-Mart Texaco Lola T93/00 Ford (5 pics)
Hi all,

finally had some time to take pics of my latest finished model, the Newman Haas K-Mart Texaco Lola T93/00 Ford driven by Nigel Mansell in 1993 with which he won the title. Here's a few pics for your viewing pleasure.

Thanks for the kind words guys. This kit was very nice to build and it came out really good imho. (maybe my best so far) This kit was from Tamiya, number 20040. It's listed as Snap-loc meaning you don't need any glue, but I ended up using some just to be sure. Don't want it to start falling apart or something after 2 months.

Up next is the #3 Goodwrench Chevrolet Silverado raced by Johnny Sauter in the Nascar Craftsman Truck Series. It's a Revell Monogram kit I started about a week ago. Engine's finished and I'm currently working on the chassis with all the roll bars. Having a small prob getting the red to cover nicely on the black parts but that should be ok with an extra coat I think. Should start spraying the body this week aswell. (all nice 'n black )

Maybe a little tip( in case you forget it..)

Try and sand the middle plastic bit out of the tyres adn give them that not-just-new-look...
