Taurus buzzing

Every time I turn on the car it makes a buzzing sound. It does it if driving right away or sitting idle. Seems like its coming from the back seat floor. Anyone else with this issue-did you find out what was causing it?

Welcome to the forum. What year is your Taurus? When you say "turn on the car" do you mean starting it, or does it make the buzzing noise as soon as you turn your key to the Run position?

Depending on what year your Taurus is, the fuel pump could be below the back seat. If the noise happens for a second or so after turning the key to Run you could try pulling the fuse or relay for the fuel pump, then try the key to see if the noise goes away. If so, that would be a pretty good indication the fuel pump is the culprit. It's not uncommon for the fuel pump to get louder when they are about to fail.
