what offeset and tire size would i need for 17" rims on a 2000 golf

Depending on the width of the wheel, 30-38 mm will work assuming no brake clearance problems.

The following tire sizes will work:


225/45-17 25.0" overall diameter
235/45-17 25.3" overall diameter

If you use garage we've already checked for wheel fitment so any wheels listed are 100% guaranteed to fit on stock car:
