Oxygen Sensor Locations 1993 TransSport 3.8L

1993 Transsport 3.8L
I just had the CAT Converter stolen from my old girl after 440,000 km. Can I pop on a universal converter or are any oxygen sensors mounted right on the converter?
Simple question but the CAT is gone so I don't have a simple answer?

If you don't see any wires hanging down, I would say no.

Hi thanks.
I don't have it in the air yet but there is nothing hanging down when I look under. Hoping to use an old CAT I have here; It's off of a VW. I will have to plug the oxygen sensor port on it if there are no wires up there... and get a few clamps and a couple pieces of adapter pipe. I hate welding under there without a hoist.

Oxygen sensor is screwed into the exhaust manifold, very close to the flange where the exhaust pipe bolts onto it. You should be OK.
Sorry to hear you got targeted by thieves, the van is high enough to get under it ok to cut it off in a hurry. Shame the amount of damage they do to scam a few bucks

Thanks for that. That's good news.
I'm going to put loud alarms on the vehicles, and some kind of
physical deterrent too.
Crooks are often very talented; go get a job!
I just happen to have that CAT so on it goes.
It's hard not to get too frustrated but it's worth it.
