Fujimi Ferrari 250GTO
Definitely a kit catered to the advanced modeler. This thing is simply finicky and a little tedious specially when the time comes to adding all those body details. Photo Etch items are from AK Models P/E Detail Set, it truly puts it over the top. I should’ve dulled those rims a bit but this was more of a test run to have a feel for the kit. I have two more of these in my stash and they will certainly be built more like the 1/1. Paint is Splash Paints Rosso Corsa with a Dupli-Color 1K Clear and yes, it was shot straight out of the can, something I never like doing but again, this was more of a test run. I did wet sand, polished and waxed. Wheels and tires are not from this kit, they are actually from Fujimi’s tire and wheel set. I thought the ones in the kit were horrible. Hope you guys like it…..

Re: Fujimi Ferrari 250GTO
I've had one of these underway for longer than I'd like to admit and I'm treating the way you did: a trial build in preparation for several more of these kits in my stash.
Any engine pictures? |
