98 k1500 5.7 starts/dies starts/dies so on so on

ok i have replaced all electrics under hood dist/ all new / ECM new remapped ./ coil new/ plugs & wires new / mass air flow new/ ect engine still acts like it is in security mode and have bypassed 3 wires on column on ign switch still wont fire correctly last time i used it ran like new to take off with it drove roughly 3 miles then did and same ol same ol start and die strt and die



QUESTION being can i run a hot wire from toggle switch in cab to fuel pump ?
and hot wire the coil from, toggle switch like the old days ?

Before hacking up the wiring any more, check your fuel system. There could be starvation if the fuel pickup or filter is getting clogged, or the fuel pump is dying.

2nd New fuel pump and tank just replaced all new

Computer? I have a buddy that installed aftermarket stereo, and one of the speaker magnets was close enough to the computer to scramble it periodically.

Man....

Perhaps a loose connection somewhere...I'm out of ideas, don't know if running a hot wire would fry anything or not.

I did find out how to jump relay under hood trying that tomorrow --yard work today and tonight before it rains. ?
