EHH drawing newbie

here is my first try at drawing a side shot of a truck....idk what kind it is just something i did.....hope you like it ...

The truck lacks depth and proportion, but thats fine since the focus of the pictures seems to be the flame design. The wheelwells look kinda small too... Thats a good design!

For a first time, you did really well. Since it's just a side shot, there will be no depth, and also since it's no particular style of truck, we can't say much for proportions. Just a few suggestions for next time. The hood of a truck normally comes up higher than the bed of the truck. Also, the back window normally isn't straight up, yet slanted slightly towards the front. You did a good job on the wheels and keeping them round, but yes they do tend to look a bit small. The flame design on the side of the truck is great. Just continue with your work and you'll learn alot more about how to draw, how to shade, and other techniques. Overall, you did a great job for a first time. Keep up the good work.
