2008 Silverado front leaf spring hangar
I have been searching for a day and a half trying to find a replacement leafspring hangar to no avail. Living in the rust and salt belt these parts deteriorate and I need one for the drivers side. Has ANYONE found a place that sells new weld on or bolt on front hangars? Rears I can get by the dozen but fronts just are not readily available.

Yes this is the front hangar for the rear leaf springs.It is welded onto the frame vs the 99-07 used rivets to fasten them.I can't be the first one to go through this,surely.What a local spring shop has been doing is using rear hangars and flipping them upside down to make it work for the front because the only way to get a factory front mount is to find one on a junk frame that is still in good solid condition,which is rare around where I live.
