Need Some Info About RSX-S

Hi everybody, I'm a newbie so what's up? But I'm gonna jump right into it.
I'm getting very interested in the RSX type S only(I'll need the extra compression). I need to know a few things however because I'm also very skeptical of buying a 4 cylinder because I'm used to 8. I'll just list the questions and if you can answer feel free. TYPE-S only

What is the 0-60mph time?

How will it hang with the Lexus IS300 and eclipse 6 cylinders?

How is the handling on stock it a pretty narrow car so can you go around corners fast?

I drive a Chevy C1500 pickup mark III conversion. It's got a 350ci v8 and handles beautifully around corners, because it is very wide, low and light. It resembles a NASCAR Truck with it 12in wide yokohama tires. Anyways I'm very attached to my truck and this is the first affordable car that is taking my interest away from the truck. What do you think.

0-60 times are from 6.1 to 6.9 depends on driver, but except times of 6.5 o-60 and 14.8-15.2 in 1/4 mile

My buddy has an IS300 and I would really like to know how they match up stock vs. stock. I really wouldn't like to get beat by a 4 door, and it would be great to do it with just 4 cylinders.
Any inf is appreciated. Thanks

well the rsx is a better sports car in in my opionon, the rsx type has has faster 0-60 6-1 to 6.9 while the is300 is 7.1-7.5 plus the rsx has a faster 1/4 time and at a faster speed and this is a 4 cyl engine compared to the lexus's v6

Thats good news anton, but lexus is claiming a 6.8 0-60 time on the new IS300. They also claim a top track speed of 143.7mph.
What is the top speed of RSX. I know top speed isn't to important but just curious.

ye well acura claims 6.1 but those claims are pretty much bs the 6.1 and 6.8 wont really happen usless your a pro stick driver for many years thats why i said 6.5 for rsx and around 7.2 for is300, top speed is 145 or so but 1/4 on the rsx is faster and you get better fuel econemy as well as standard sunroof, leather seats, bose(horrible system). top speed 145 for a 4 cyl engine is pretty impressive compared to a 147 is300, with some mods u can hit 150 on the track possibly, but top speed doesnt really matter like u said, of course the is300 is a more luxury car, but its also a 4d sedan not a coupe

Actually it's a BOSE woofer built around the spare tire with amp. Doesn't create a good sound since it's in spare tire. Although the rest of the stereo sounds good to me. I can crank it up all the way without any distortion/noise in sound.

i like the idea that the is300 is rwd but its 0 - 60 time is 7.2 with the automatic... with manual its in the high 6's and the american is300 is more luxury compared to the rsx and the japanese altezza... my sister got a base model rsx and i was disapointed with the handling and it was lowered so it is actually stiffer than stock suspention but maybe its because im comparing it to an mr2... just MO

Yeah, I've heard from some audiophiles that BOSE sucks. I don't care what they say, though. I think the stereo is great. I bought the typeS for the reason that it came with everything I wanted and not to change stuff in it.

Hmm, switch wires? I'd have to see what they're doing before I start messing with the woofer. I wouldn't want to blow the speaker if I connected something wrong. Do you happen to know the details of how it's done. Lemme know if you do find out.
