1991 Sonoma starting issues

I have a 1991 Gmc Sonoma with the 4.3. I recently replaced idler pully and no more then a mile later my truck stalled out. I replaced fuel pump and i am still having issue I am thinking my injectors are bad but I am not sure. If i spray starting fluid into throttle body the engine will crank but only for a moment then it stalls out again. Is there anything else that could be causing this other then bad injectors? Fuel is being delivered to throttle body i can hear fuel pump kicking on i believe i am getting spark gonna test that tomorrow as well as replace injectors but other then that I am at a loss please help!!! I miss my truck..... update injectors were replaced and I cleaned throttle body and still no start looking for any advice or suggestions ecu maybe? 🤷

You are throwing parts at this and just guessing. You're going to have to do actual research and diagnostics. You'll save a whole lotta money in the end because you're not replacing good parts.

Re: 1991 Sonoma starting issues

The initial step is to measure the actual fuel pressure. There may be pressure from the fuel pump, but if it is not at the minimum pressure the injectors will not spray fuel, even if energized correctly.

Also, if the engine will run briefly when starting fluid or an external fuel source is provided, it is a reasonable assumption that the ignition system is operating.

If this is a Vortech you need 60 psi fuel pressure.
