GTRA Brake Lights and what's this switch for?
A friend of mine just bought a GTRA and I was helping him get it ready for his first HPDE. One thing I noticed was there is no break lights. There is a rain light and the bulbs are dual element but for the life of me I can't find and brake light switch (pressure or other.) did the GTRA cars not have brake lights?
also on the right side edge of the center switches there is a 3 way switch with no label. it seems to be a switch for the instructor in the passenger seat. any idea what that is used for? thanks for the help Chris Lorenz |

Re: GTRA Brake Lights and what's this switch for?
The brake light sender should be inboard, follow the right rear brake line.
What year and chassis # is your friend's RA? Still running the 302 or other?

Re: GTRA Brake Lights and what's this switch for?
If I remember correctly it is Chassie number 3, all stock with 302, PI dash, Panoz seats, etc. looks like it may have some chassie updates. I thought I traced all the brake lines and never found a inline switch. I will have to look again.
thanks Chris |
