2019 Jeep Cherokee Air Condition problems

My Cherokee when driving with AC off and window open cycles on and off. Went to dealer and after 2 hours was told a humidity sensor does this even when off. Certainly don't want Ac when window open. W
Wondering if this a legit answer.

2019's not my specialty....but a quick search showed this page:

So it seems there needs to be no flow on the windshield, manual mode, and A/C off to stop the cycling.

Crazy newfangled cars anyway....when I want A/C, I'll turn it on.

I will give it a try. Hard to keep up with all these automatic manual modes. Thanks for the help.

I know, right? You can always RTFM and see if there's any information there (doubt it) or check with the stealership (also unlikely).

Shame that we've got to go to an online forum to get answers that should be in the owner's manual.
