Meng Ford GT40

Finished this model last week after a 5 month build.
Very nice kit with a lot of parts. The parts are nicely molded. Most of them needs no repairwork.
this kit comes with a nice instruction book, which is easy to follow. But not every paint step is mentioned. The black parts doesn't need to be painted according to the book.
The details can be highlighted by painting the bolts en screws.
One thing i didn't like were the vinyl pipelines, they can't be painted before assembly. The paint will come off once you bend them before putting them in the right place.
Every part fits perfect, even after painting.
Painted it with Zero Paints for the body, everything else is painted with Tamiya LP paints or Mr Color, who are thinned to use in the airbrush.

I added some decalscas decals for the dash.

This is a great kit, maybe not as great as mentioned on the internet.
But for me it is the best build I made so far.

Enjoy the pictures
