is it normal or bad alternator??

Refer to the thread http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...ght=alternator
I am a bit confused about smart charging system. If someone is stuck in treffic jam the battery will come to 60% charge ??. in certain websites I read that you have to drive about 20 to thirty min for battery to regain. Alternators are only replacing the used amperes. So if alternator is not to fully charge or keep low charging the, AC not working to there required capacity (some times one need full AC) then what is the use of SCS. Here are two alternators; what I got from SCS is that both alternator are good Or one is good but which one??
