1962 Northwind Bel air

Tied to the home for nearly six weeks now due to the Corona virus there is lots of time to spend in the cave sniffing glue and styrene.
This is the last quarantine build, the AMT Northwind Bel air. It got the carbs modified with some odds and ends on and around the engine.
Besides somewhat brittle decals that broke like a piece of glass in some place it was a breeze to build with no major problems at all.

Great subject matter. I love these old racers, love the livery. The engine is one of the best V-8's I've ever seen. Nice touch on all the seat decorating too.
