dash lights and dead battery

5.3L 03 "silverado"

I took my driver seat out to replace the springs, had to unplug a few things but other than that, no biggie. Literally right after reinstalling it and taking off, I noticed my dash wasn't working, at all. After a few minutes of driving, it finally came back on, back to normal.

Here's where it gets weird:

Next day, go out and it took a minute to start, weird because it always starts right up. Eventually it starts and I notice that the gauges aren't working except for the Tach and Speedo. Also I have 4 lights on: Check engine (which is always on--for reasons), airbag, battery, and ABS. Also, normally whenever you shut the truck off the radio will continue to play until you open the door. Well this time, the radio continued to play even though the truck was off and the door was opened. This explains the dead battery as the radio must've continued to stay on all night.

Thoughts? I am stumped. It would be one heckuva coincidence if it didn't have something to do with the seat removal since it all started right after that project.

*edit: I've tried 3 times to add my pic, it's not working. wtf?

Re: dash lights and dead battery

I fixed your image. You were using the wrong url. For future reference the easiest way to get the right url (especially from imgur) is to right click, copy image location, then paste that between your img tags.
