Identify this car in Texas?

I'm wanting to identify the car that this Texas Ranger is driving: make, model, year -- and I thought of this forum. Can you/will you help?

Happy to tell you all more about him and his historical significance; but I also won't bore anyone with it unless asked because I'm interested in the car itself.

Thank you so much :-).
