uncertainty about clear coat?
well ive searched and search but none has said if when u clear coat, if u do the same as u would with normal paint? like do u mist the first few and then lay a thck layer? or do you go straigt to a thicker coat?

I strongly recommend to mist a couple of coats first as you can never be sure of what the reaction between the paint layer and/or decals and clearcoat will be. When you spray in mist coats, the clear reaches the surface almost dry and the solvent that it consists of can't really do any damage to whatever underlies the clear. Same with the second coat. And then the dried thin coats of clear will themselves protect the underlying surface from the attack of the solvents in the wetter coats of clear.
