Happy 4th of July, everyone!
For my 1988 Prelude, I am removing an older (non-factory) stereo and replacing it. But I don't know which wires are which... anyone ever done this before? I would greatly appreciate your help. If you happen to know where I can get an install manual (with wire diagram) for an Aiwa CT-X438 it would be even better (not from a pay site, please). Thanks!

Ever thought to note where the other wires are hooked up and just replace them in that order?

Yeah, I did that, but I wanted to make sure so I wouldn't fry my "new" cd player (the reason why I posted)... Then 5 minutes later I just decided to wing it. The sad thing is that the CD player sucks so much I want my tape deck back! Stupid piece of crap.. oh well. Looks like I got something to look forward to in the morning.

Your question may be answered a little better in the Interior/Audio/Security Forum... Thats were most of the stereo buffs hang out and seeing that it is a Honda, your question should be answered lightning fast!!

Thanks for the advice. I got it working already though, and I added an amp in there too for a small bass boost
Sounds good!
