Tranny 4L60E issues

Anyone knows if I can swap a 2000 4L60e tranny to 2008 4l60e tranny there both 0n 4.3 mmotor (

a 2000 is not compatible with a 2008 . these are electronically controlled... GM made many changes on these transmissions . GM changes the electrical connector on all transmissions that have changes internally. many think a 4l60 1996 will work in a 2000 vehicle not gonna work .. you have to talk to a tranny shop on the repair of your transmission.. probably the internal parts have broken down .. a 2000 tranny had dexron III in it from factory so many have had failures because the fluid turns to acid after 25K miles. then the shell cracks and NO GO...
GM in 2006 dumped Dexron III .. GM approved fluid is Dexron VI... GM went into bankruptcy because of the massive transmission failures on many vehicles using this defective fluid.
