2008 chevy silverado 1500
I have a 2008 chevy silverado 1500 v6 4.3 transmission 4L60e went out a few days ago. I'm in the process of buying a tranny. The problem is that I got offered a tranny from a 2000 silverado 1500 v6 4.3 tranny is 4L60e. My question is Wil it work properly or will it even fit since it's a 8 year difference . Any help is highly appreciated I guess my question is if the tranny have the same number no matter the year they will still fit
