As promised, finished this today. Very nice Tamiya kit of this little Japanese "Baby Ninja". Colours by Zero paints (Rosso Corsa and Pure White), clear coat Profix automotive 2K clear. Other paints Vallejo, Ultimate and AK Xtreme Metal. No big problems, only that the length of the upper front brake hose was given about one millimeter too short in the instruction sheet (first time ever with a Tamiya kit, usually they are a bit too long).

Great build! Hard to believe the kit is more than 30 years old. At that time Tamiya was miles ahead of other bike models manufacturers. In good hands like yours these kits turn into true replicas of real bikes. Looking forwatd to your next build!

I agree, what you said about Tamiya motorbikes. Tamiya found in early eighties a nearly perfect way of designing and molding these models, a technique that is in use even today (only that there are too few new models). The same technique was applied to there F1-models, but (my opinion) it has degraded during the years, the earlier models where better, at least what comes to the engine compartment.

looking great, I agree about Tamiya's motorcycles kits, they are a joy to build, but sometimes dealing with 30 year old decals can be a problem.
