The New Mazda 6
Anyone else seen pictures of this car? I have only seen the hatchback pictures, and they are killer. Does not look like a 5 door hatch at all. It looks like a 4 door, but oh my is it beutiful. The 4 door is the only one that I has been confirmed for the US, but I am definitly telling my sister to consider this for her Accord replacement sense she says she can't put up with the problems for much longer(spent over $4,000 on maintnence, and repairs in the past 4 months and it is a 96 with 70,000 miles). Anyway I love this car.

I like the 5-door and the wagon the best. On close inspection, I can find very little difference between the 4 door and the 5, except that the trunk doesn't include the window on the 4. But the 4 door just looks too hiked up in the back or something, I dunno. I really like the car though. I prefer the grill with the chrome strip up top then all black (like on the wagon pic) as opposed to the 3 horizontal bar grill on the yellow one there.
I really like the way Mazda is headed, they're turning out to be really desirable cars to me, same with Nissan. I can't really say the same about Toyota or Honda.

I agree with you 100% Heep. On everything you said. I wonder if they are going to bring back the Mazda Speed line, or comeout with the new MPS line.
There change is do to a restructuring by Ford. Say what you want about Ford they Are the epitomy of marketing genius. Ford plans to turn them into there sports car division. I just wonder if they plan to buy the rest of Mazda, as I recall they only own half.

do buy the mazda 6 JUNK read on
I bought the new 6 last month on March first.....it has been in the shop now 5 time for the same reason. when you turn the steering wheel the cars front squeals!!!! I have found out mine is one of about a dozen so far that have been reported to do this also a secretary let is slip they are having problems on the 6 with shimmy problems....so my vote don't buy it!!!! Looks great but iti si an over priced piece of junk.

Well, the 96 Accord is not too bad, maybe your sister just got a not so well maintained car. Since my BF's 97 doesn't do anything wrong(well, except a noticable understeer if he pushes it through a curve at 55/35mph...)
And I won't think the M6 will be a nice sport sedan unless it's RWD or AWD...Even the Hatchback looks really cool...
