Safc

sup. i have 91 crx si. my friend has a apexi SAFC that he's going to sell me for dirt cheap. what exactly is this thing used for? the only real problem is he only has the screen & a plug on then end of the wire. ill take pix later on, but what i want to know is what else would i need to buy to hook this thing up to my & make it work? thx all for reading my post

the safc is for fuel tuneing. does your car have vtec?? if it does then you should go with the vafc it has a vtec controller. my only question is does the safc tell you the a/f ratio at all when you're tuneing it.
